Governing your use of Denca Travel & Tours services

Welcome to Denca Travel & Tours. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, booking platforms, and related services (collectively, "the Services"). By using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should discontinue use of our Services immediately.

Scope of Services

What Denca Travel & Tours offers

Denca Travel & Tours provides customers with access to travel-related products and services, including but not limited to:

  • Flight bookings and airline tickets
  • Visa assistance and travel documentation support

Denca Travel & Tours acts as an intermediary between customers and third-party providers (airlines, insurers, etc.).

Eligibility to Use Services

Who can use our platform

  • Users must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
  • Users agree to provide accurate and current personal and payment details when using the Services.
  • We reserve the right to deny access to our platform for fraud, misuse, or breach of these Terms.

Booking and Reservations

How bookings are made and confirmed

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by the respective service provider.
  • A booking is valid only when a confirmation is issued by Denca Travel & Tours (via email, SMS, or booking receipt).
  • Customers are responsible for reviewing all booking details and notifying us immediately of discrepancies.
  • Special requests (e.g., meals, seats, accessibility) will be communicated to suppliers but cannot be guaranteed.

Pricing and Payments

Rates, charges, and payment terms

  • Prices displayed are subject to change until payment is completed.
  • Rates may fluctuate due to market conditions, currency variations, or seat availability.
  • Service charges, taxes, and surcharges may apply and will be disclosed before payment.
  • Payments must be made through approved channels in the designated currency.
  • Denca Travel & Tours reserves the right to cancel bookings for incomplete or fraudulent payments.

Prices are only locked in once full payment has been received and a confirmation issued.

Cancellations, Changes & Refunds

How modifications and refunds are handled

  • Policies are determined by the service provider (airlines, etc.).
  • Non-refundable fares may not be eligible for refunds.
  • Requests for cancellations or modifications must be made in writing through official channels.
  • Administrative fees may apply for processing cancellations or changes.
  • Refund timelines depend on supplier processing and may take several weeks.

Travel Documents and Visas

Passports, visas, and required documentation

  • Customers are solely responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, and required documentation.
  • Denca Travel & Tours may assist with visa processing but does not guarantee approval.
  • We are not liable for denied entry, deportation, or restrictions due to insufficient documentation.

Always verify entry requirements with the relevant embassy or consulate well in advance of travel.

Flights

Airline operations and passenger responsibilities

Airline schedules, routes, and operations are subject to change by carriers. Denca Travel & Tours is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or missed connections. Passengers must comply with airline rules and safety regulations. Refunds or re-routing will follow airline policies.

Liability, Privacy & Other Provisions

Responsibilities, limitations, IP, and force majeure

Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate booking information.
  • Arrive on time for all flights.
  • Comply with laws, regulations, and supplier policies.
  • Take responsibility for belongings and personal safety during travel.

Limitations of Liability

  • Denca Travel & Tours acts only as an agent and is not liable for supplier defaults.
  • We are not responsible for injuries, losses, or delays from supplier performance.
  • Liability is limited to the amount paid for the disputed booking.
  • We are not liable for events beyond our control (strikes, wars, natural disasters, travel restrictions).

Intellectual Property

All content on Denca Travel & Tours platforms is the intellectual property of Denca Travel & Tours. Unauthorized copying, modification, or use is strictly prohibited.

Privacy and Data Protection

  • We collect and process customer data in compliance with applicable laws.
  • Data may be shared with suppliers to fulfill bookings.
  • We employ safeguards but cannot guarantee absolute data protection.

Force Majeure

Denca Travel & Tours will not be liable for service failures due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, wars, terrorism, strikes, civil unrest, or technical failures.

Termination & Governing Law

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms.
  • Termination does not affect any prior rights or obligations.
  • These Terms shall be governed by Nigerian law and the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
